- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We decided to board our pet dog here because she's an oldish puppy with lots of energy. And, as a recent rescue, she needed some help with a few of her behavior challenges. The boarding facility here is clean, our dog got completely and happily exhausted each day at the Doggie Day Care and the dog training program is the best we've found in the Traverse City area. The head dog trainer, Janet Dipirro, has over 20 years of experience training dogs and it shows. She uses positive training methods and after the three weeks she worked with our dog, she helped us understand several peculiarities of our dogs personality and how to work with her so she could become a calmer family member. We've decided to join her weekly dog training classes where we learn how important body language and consistency are as we shape our dogs public behavior.
